Coaching
Services Coaching is
not a new concept. From the local high
school football field to an Olympic arena, every competitor knows that having a
good coach, the right coach, makes all the difference between being a player
and becoming a champion. From the
multi-purpose stage in the school cafeteria to Carnegie Hall, every
accomplished performer has probably learned the techniques of excellence from a
personal trainer or coach, someone who not only knows what it takes to make it
to the top but also knows the performer as well as, if not better than, anyone
else. From the kitchen table to the
corporate board room, everyone knows and appreciates the guidance of a good
friend who challenges and encourages us to become the best we can be. People who seek
and achieve excellence never walk alone.
At CTC,
Coaching is a partnership between an individual with a vision and a coach with
a plan. Your personal coach will assist you
in articulating your vision and planning an effective strategy to turn the
vision into your reality. Your coach
will help you overcome obstacles and self-defeating behaviors. Your coach will offer support, encouragement
and objective advice. Most importantly,
your coach will challenge you to meet your expectations and will hold you accountable
for your own success.
Your CTC
personal coach will provide instruction and structure and will help you stay
focused on the future—your future. Your
coach will walk beside you day by day or stand ready as a resource whenever you
need a little push to stay on track. You
and your coach will custom design the right success program for you. Your coach will join you wherever you are on
your personal or professional journey, and confidently you will learn that
“Success is more than luck!”
Success
is more than luck!
We
recognize five key elements in the pursuit
of success and provide challenge, support,
encouragement, training and mentoring for
each of them.

lucky clover below to read more about them.

Nourish
-- While
a cactus may thrive in the desert and a pine tree may
grow out of a crack in a rock, some plants need a much
different environment. We, as individuals, also
have unique needs in order to thrive. It is important
to be sure that we are planted in an enhancing environment.
Identifying our particular needs and keeping them
in proper balance are necessary in order to flourish.
Dream
--
Dreaming doesn't make it so, but it is certainly the
place to start. The key is turning that dream
into a vision of the future. A clearly-defined
and well-articulated vision is the cornerstone of
success. The best vision incorporates all the
senses. How does it feel? What does it look
like? Can you hear it, see it, taste it and smell
it? The clearer this picture becomes, the easier
it will be to remember it, focus on it, and reach it.
Discover
--
Through in-depth evaluation of ourselves and our circumstances
we determine what we have and what we need
to reach our dreams. This process helps us discover
how our calling in life may be the fuel for our dreams.
The process can uncover under utilized talents
and untapped potential. We often discover opportunities
for assistance
that we haven't considered. Through this exploration
we also identify the skills we need to develop.
Forecast
--
Through planning, we forecast our future. The
plan determines what actions will be taken and
where priorities are placed. Great plans incorporate
SMART goals. These goals are Specific, Measurable,
Attainable, Relevant and Time-sensitive. When
properly developed, these SMART goals become short-term
achievements and milestones on the road to our
dreams.
Achieve
-- Achievement is not the final event.
It is a way of life. We can utilize each achievement as the springboard for more
success. Evaluating our progress will
help determine what was most successful and identify
opportunities for improvement. Recognizing assistance
and showing appreciation
will replenish the "assistance well" and ensure
that it will never dry up. Celebrating success
and rewarding ourselves for our achievements will restore
energy and increase the motivation to continue forward.
